Dalian – Market participants reported at the end of last week that organic buckwheat prices are stable.
While domestic raw material is of poor quality and Russian buckwheat is currently not allowed to be imported, demand is so weak that these circumstances do not increase the price. In the low season, domestic demand is always weak, and there are no significant export orders in Dalian port.
New buckwheat has been sown in the growing areas, and the estimated area under cultivation is about 5-8% lower than last year. As a result, exporters hope that buckwheat prices will remain stable. China mainly exports organic buckwheat grains to the United States, the Netherlands, Spain, and Japan.
