Agro export from Ukraine in MY 2023/24 went over 4 million tons as of August 30, 2023.
The volume of exports of grains and leguminous crops from Ukraine amounted to 4.34 million tons as of August 30. This is almost 10% higher than the same indicator of the previous season (3.96 million tons). This information was posted by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, 1.9 million tons of wheat have been shipped since the beginning of the season, which is 65% more than last year’s volume.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 473 thousand tons (+11% compared to the same period in 2022).
Almost 2 million tons of corn went abroad, which is 21% less than shipments on the same date last season.
Export of flour from Ukraine in 2023/24 MY amounted to 22.4 thousand tons. This is almost twice as much as last year (11.9 thousand tons).
So, in August 2023 Ukraine exported 2.07 million tons of grain. This is 9% less than August 2022. Over the month, 1.06 million tons of wheat (+39%) were sent to foreign markets, barley — 178 thousand tons (+11%), corn — 823 thousand tons (-38%), flour — 12.6 thousand tons (+62%).
