DALIAN: Recently, some farmers in the red bean-producing areas have the intention to sell grain, but the asking price is high. Grain merchants are challenging to sell high-priced finished products, and the purchase of raw grains is more cautious. In the domestic wholesale market, red bean is generally sold. Due to the different arrival costs of traders, the quotations have been stable and rising. Exports are mainly Japan, South Korea, and the US market. There is no apparent improvement in downstream demand, and the just-needed replenishment is insufficient to drive the market in the production area.
