TIANJIN: Market participants predict that sunflower seeds will remain at a high level and start to fall after May. Currently, prices beat expectations. The export standard has exceeded $1,900 per ton. This high prices are because of traders’ speculation and lower production of new commodities.
This week’s export standard is 361 sunflower seeds, 200-210 seeds/50 g. The reference export price is $1880-1900/ton, and $190-200 seeds/50g is $1890-1930/ton. Attention should be paid to the changes in the later market price.
