TIANJIN: According to feedback from exporters and producers, the demand for sunflower seeds has decreased due to hot weather since the beginning of July. Market traders have supported prices recently. After the middle of the year, the domestic high temperature continues, the domestic market sales enter the off-season, and the price may drop slightly. The market is expected to remain sluggish as the hot weather continues. At present, the production area has sufficient supply. This week, count 180-190pcs/50g – 361 standard sunflower seeds were exported. The export price is 1.300-1.350 US dollars/ton, and the count 190-200pcs/50g price is 1.290-1.320 US dollars/ton. The weather forecast reported widespread rainfall last week, and the market and production areas were concerned.
