Dried Figs Market: Less Stock High Prices

Turkish dried figs had an active week. However, this activity was mostly aimed at the domestic market. The approach of Ramadan has increased the demand for dried figs in the local market, as it does for other dried fruits.

Exports are having a hard time. The decrease in the products suitable for export in the market caused the prices to increase, which reduced the chance of competing with other countries in exports. Even though Europe can supply other origin figs at a cheaper price, those who want Turkish quality figs cannot give up on Turkish figs.

Currently, the remaining products only meet the needs of the current customers of the businesses. Export prices of figs are expected to increase further in the coming weeks.
