Export of Wheat From Ukraine Is 50% Lower Than Last Year

The volume of exports of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in the 2022/23 FY as of December 21 amounted to 20.6 million tons, which is 32% less than last season. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Wheat

Thus, 7.6 million tons of wheat have been shipped since the beginning of the season, which is 51% less than last year’s volume.

Barley

The supply of barley to foreign markets amounted to 1.55 million tons (-70%).

Also, 12.4 thousand tons of rye were exported, which is significantly less than last year’s 87 thousand tons.

Corn

11.3 million tons of corn were exported, which is 25% higher than the volume of shipments on the same date last season (9.1 million tons).

Flour

The export of flour from Ukraine in the 2022/23 MR amounted to 65.7 thousand tons, which is 13% higher than last season on the same date (58.1 thousand tons).
