Agricultural producers of Europe countries can collect about 34 million tons of basic oilseeds this year according to the report of Stratégie Grains
According to experts, the volume of gross rapeseed harvest in the region will amount to 19.6 million tons against 19.5 million tons according to the previous estimate of specialists.
“Most of the rapeseed crops are in satisfactory condition. However, in the western oilseed growing regions of the Europe, there is a deficit of soil moisture,” the company said.
At the same time, analysts lowered their forecast for the sunflower harvest in the countries of the bloc this year – from 11.3 million tons to 11.2 million tons. However, the new estimate of the seed harvest is 22% higher than the final figure for 2022.
The soybean production forecast is maintained at 3.2 million tonnes (+28% by 2022).
