BUDAPEST – More and more information is coming from the Hungarian farmers regarding pumpkinseed kernels. According to them, the new crop was damaged by the Summer drought hence the yields are forecasted significantly lower than in the past year.
There are no approaching estimations available yet, but the new price indicates the loss: The current 95% purity Styrian GWS price is around 4,00-4,20 EUR/kg FCA Hungary.
Last year, the starting price in the new season was around 3,00 Euro/kg FCA Hungary.
