ODESA: According to the State Customs Service, as of December 29, Ukraine exported 31.575 million tons of grain and legumes from the beginning of 2021/22 MY. This is 5.511 million tons more than on the same date a year earlier.
Shipments of Ukrainian grains in December amounted to 5.479 million tons.
In terms of crops, in the period July 1 – December 29, Ukraine exported:
- 15.716 million tons of wheat (+3.227 million tons);
- 5.196 million tons of barley (+1.42 million tons);
- 121.2 thousand tons of rye (+119.5 thousand tons);
- 10.304 million tons of corn (+897 thousand tons).
It is expected that the export pace will decrease in the second half of the season. Nevertheless, all experts forecast record export volumes for Ukraine this year.
