Korea announced its sesame tender on Wednesday, 29, 2022, for 12000 tonnes in three parts. India has managed to get the lion’s share of the tender by procuring 11,100 tonnes. The other two countries that could procure some quantity for the export to Korea were Nigeria with 600 tonnes and Tanzania with another 300 tonnes.
Among the Indian companies, CS MRO was able to procure a total of 2700 tonnes of export of sesame with 900 on each part. The company quoted the following prices for each part of the tender,
AT2409-SI-22 (420) was quoted at $1738.00 per ton, AT2409-SI-22 (421) was at $1,742.00 per ton, and AT2409-SI-22 (422) was $1736.00 per ton.

The highest quote was made by Indiagro Co., Ltd for $1,788.00 per tonne and for it the conany received the order of 300 tonnes.
The lowest price quoted at the tender was by Saltrance Co., Ltd for $1,736.00 per tonne and it procured an order of 600 tonnes for the price.
