Sesame Seeds Current Scenario
Vast quantities of sesame seeds are available with stockholders, and quantity bookings only depend on stockists. There are possibilities of Korean tender announcement of 10 to 12 thousand metric tonnes by this month-end.
There were fewer trades and movements in the last few weeks; on Friday the market closed by $20 down. Indian sesame seed prices were high compared to Africa, Pakistan, and China, but now they have come to similar levels. Therefore, now there are fewer chances that the market will go further down from these price levels.
Arrivals
As of now, good quality sesame seeds availability is less in Indian main markets. Total arrivals of the week were 2951 tonnes, and the maximum was from Gujarat 1262 tonnes.
Future Price Trend
According to reports, stockists will be active and may buy more stock at these levels. Traders hope that markets will go up when international demand increases and Korean tender arrives. Sesame markets have already been silent and down for quite a long time. Therefore, according to experts, the market won’t go down from these levels.
