Current Scenario

It has been observed for a couple of weeks in peanut markets that traders and stockists were not willing to sell their stock. There has been good improvement in medium and average quality goods. According to reports, there are chances that the market will go further up from these levels.

Markets are good and positive because the quality of the peanuts is good. The stock lying at farmers’ houses is of excellent quality. Therefore they were not selling at the low prices and will not be willing to release the goods at present. A couple of surveys informed reporters that they would wait for the market to go high to get better returns on their crops.

There was good buying in the domestic market for peanuts for the last few days because of the upcoming Makar Sankranti Festival in India on 14th January 2022.

Future Trend:

The overall scenario of the peanut market seems quite robust. Assumptions are that more domestic demand can arise in the coming days due to the festive season, which will eventually help the market remain up.
