Olzha Argo Trade has signed an agreement with Belgium’s Vandeputte to provide flax. This was reported in the press service of JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST” following a round table with the management of more than 20 largest European companies held during the visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Belgium.

It is reported that the amount of the signed agreement is 16 million US dollars.

In addition, during the event, the Foreign Chambers of Commerce of Kazakhstan signed two memoranda with the Brussels Chamber of Commerce BECI and the Flemish Chamber of Commerce VOKA.

On the sidelines of the event, the management of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, held a series of B2B meetings with the Belgian side on potential and ongoing investment projects.

“As a result of the discussions held by the Kazakh delegation, increased interest of the Belgian business community in cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan was noted,” said Ardak Zebeshev, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressing hope that the joint work would allow increasing the volume and structure of interaction in the future.

Belgium has invested more than $9 billion in Kazakhstan’s economy over the past 15 years, and today some 70 companies with Belgian capital are successfully operating in Kazakhstan.

Olzha Argo Trade is a trading company engaged in the export of grain and oilseeds. The company exports its products to the countries of Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan), Iran, Russia, China, and European countries.
