DALIAN – According to customs data, from mid-May to mid-June 2021, only 161 tons of organic black kidney beans were exported from China to the United States. An amount those market participants can’t believe because the United States is China’s main export market for organic black kidney beans. Of course, it was impacted by the shipping market. The number of ships was greatly reduced, the sea freight reached a record high, and it wasn’t easy to book shipping space. It affected not only the black kidney beans market but also the entire Chinese export industry. Exporters are confused and hoping for an improvement in the shipping market.
