From February 21, Poland introduced a ban on the movement of trucks at the Polish-Belarusian border crossing “Kukuriky-Kozlovychi”. This ban applies to all vehicles not registered in Poland and countries that are members of the European Union, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), member countries of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation, reports Apk-inform with reference to the Atameken press service.
It should be noted, that the “Kukuriky-Kozlovychi” crossing was the only opportunity for Kazakh trucks to pass after the closure of the “Bobrovnyki-Berestovytsa” crossing.
“Kazakhstan carriers that deliver Kazakh export goods to European countries, and vice versa, have also come under new restrictions. And these are millions of losses”, – said Murat Amryn, Managing Director – Director of the Department of Logistics and Transportation of “Atameken”.
He noted that the Embassy of Kazakhstan has already sent notes to the Polish state bodies with the demand to lift restrictions on carriers from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
