At the same time, rainfall improved conditions for the development of oilseeds in Paraná, Mato Gros do Sul, Goiás. However, rainfall deficits in the state of Rio Grande do Sul continue to worsen soybean crop prospects.
Also, the country has begun harvesting corn of the first crop, mainly in central and southern Brazil, the reporting date threshed 4.5% of the area of the plan (+2.2% over a week), which is behind the results of the previous year (6.3%). At the same time, some regions still continue sowing grain: in general, 92% of the area is sown (+2% per month), compared to 94% a year earlier.
