With festival season coming up in the next few weeks, the demand for the raisin is constant in
the domestic market. As a result, the price has been holding steady for most varieties after increasing earlier this month.
The Golden Raisin AA Quality opened the month at $2,38 per kg FOB and increased to $2,45
per kg FOB and closed the market this week at the same price. Similarly, Black Raisin AA
Quality increased to $1,091 per kg FOB from $1,090 per kg FOB and closed at the same price.
The only slump was for Malaya Raisin AA Quality. Despite opening the month at $1,11 per kg
FOB slid to $1,10 per kg FOB last week, stayed at the same price the entire week, and
closed.
