Raisin Prices Continue to Rise Despite Record Levels; Türkiye’s Export Demand Surges

After a 10-day long holiday, raisins started the week with a rise and continue to rise. Prices continue at record levels. Despite this, exports increased on a country-by-country basis this season. While raisin exports from Türkiye to Australia increased by 99% from 9.4 million dollars to 18.8 million dollars, exports to Japan increased by 72% from 9.7 million dollars to 17.2 million dollars. Exports to Canada increased by 49% compared to last season’s figures, reaching 13.4 million dollars. These figures show that buyer countries prefer Turkish grapes in terms of quality, even though the prices are high.
