SANTOS – According to ANEC news, the Brazilian grain exporters association ANEC published on June 23 that the country’s soybean exports in June 2021 reached 11 million tons, which is down from an estimation of 11.5 million tons a week earlier. ANEC’s report is based on the port shipment schedule of June 2021.
If the ANEC data are confirmed by official export numbers, it means a decrease compared to the 14.2 million tons in May this year and 11.9 million tons in June 2020. Soybean prices in China’s domestic market fell by 4.6% to USD 1.030 per ton on the Chinese Northeast soybean market this week after weak sales.
