Within a month, Ukraine will start harvesting early grains. Meanwhile, the spring sowing period had some shifted terms and is still going on in some country regions, particularly soybeans.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, in spring 2021, Ukrainian agrarians have sown 7.4 million ha, among which:
- Wheat — 175,4 thousand ha;
- Barley — 1,34 million ha
- Oats — 187,25 thousand ha
- Peas — 234,24 thousand ha
- Corn — 5,3 million ha
- Sunflower — 6,38 million ha
- Millet — 96,71 тthousand ha
- Soybeans — 1,33 million ha
