State Food Procurement Agency of Türkiye TMO has announced the cancellation of 48 thousand tons of unrefined sunflower oil at an earlier tender in the country. This was reported by local media, citing information from market operators.
“The importer attributed its decision to high oil prices,” the report said.
The product was contracted the day before at $1159-1173.8 per tonne C&F. Under the terms of the tender, delivery to the buyer was to take place in March-May this year.
As a reminder, purchases at TMO tenders are always preliminary and are subject to final confirmation in the coming days.
