ODESA: In August 2022, Ukraine exported more than 4 million tons of agricultural products through seaports and alternative routes.
It should be noted that in August, about 1.5 million tons of food were exported through seaports. 2.5 million tons were exported through alternative ways. Before the war, the average monthly indicator of agricultural exports was about 6 million tons.
In September Ukraine plans to increase agricultural products export to 5 million tons. In general, as part of the implementation of the initiative on the safe transportation of agricultural products, more than 60 vessels have already departed from Ukrainian ports.
Nine vessels are currently undergoing inspection and in the nearest time should arrive for loading to Odesa.
