To prevent hunger

Grain from Ukraine is a food program initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It is designed to prevent hunger in the poorest countries of Africa and Asia, as well as to support domestic farmers. The essence of the humanitarian initiative is the purchase of agricultural products from Ukrainian producers by the countries participating in the project and their transfer to the countries that need it most.

The program is implemented in partnership with the UN World Food Program and under the coordination of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

The goal of the food program is to save at least 5 million people from hunger by the end of spring 2023.

Currently, more than 30 countries and international organizations have joined the implementation of the food initiative. More than 180 million US dollars have been attracted for its implementation.
