ODESA: During last week, the Ukrainian milling wheat market saw a further increase in the purchasing prices of traders in the ports of the Danube and Odesa.

The main factors affecting the price situation remain unchanged. In addition, prices are supported by expensive and busy logistics. Due to the uncertainty and lack of guarantees regarding the extension of the “grain agreement”, traders are intensifying trade through unblocked ports. This leads to the formation of queues for unloading grain in Black Sea ports.

Traders’ prices for wheat of the 2nd and 3rd class in the ports of Great Odesa and the Danube rose to 190-215 and 185-210 USD/t CPT-port, or 7500-8500 and 7300-8350 UAH/t CPT-port.
