2023 was a difficult year for raisins. Natural disasters started with frost at the beginning of the season, then the disease caused by excessive rainfall, and then hail continued. The vineyards, which have survived so many difficulties, naturally remained below the previous years’ yield. This situation caused the market prices to increase. Prices, which were last at 2046€ in 2015 due to the lack of harvest, have increased to 2325€ in recent weeks. We can say that these are the highest prices in many years. While the decrease in stocks in these months led the price upwards, the approach of Ramadan also had an additional effect. Raw material prices, which were sold at 63 TL or 1,92€  at the end of January, are expected to reach 70 TL or 2,13€ in the coming weeks. Despite these prices, the export target for 2024 is 1.67 billion Euro.

01.09.2023-03/02/2024 week crop 2022 raisin taken, export 7.348,677 ton total price is 11.683.949,12€ and average rate is 1589€ per mt.
