World Exports of Sunflower Oil at the End of the 2021/22 Season Are Increasing

World trade in sunflower oil is increasing at the end of the 2021/22 season. Thus, according to the forecast of Oil World (Germany) analysts, in July-September, the volume of exports of the product from the TOP-5 supplying countries will increase by 0.4 million tons, or by 23% per year, up to 2.3 million tons, writes APK- Inform.

At the same time, the largest increase in oil exports is expected from the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Bulgaria.

In particular, in July-September, Ukraine may increase the shipment of sunflower oil to 920 thousand tons against 810 thousand tons a year earlier, the Russian Federation – up to 890 (620) thousand tons, Bulgaria – up to 220 (150) thousand tons.

As for world exports of sunflower oil in 2022/23 MY, analysts at Oil World (Germany) expect it to be at the level of 10.6 million tons, which is 8% higher than the forecast for the 2021/22 season.

Experts predict the most significant increase in oil shipments for the Russian Federation – up to 4.35 million tons compared to 3.46 million tons in the previous MY.

Ukraine in the new season can sell 4.3 million tons of sunflower oil to the world market compared to 4.47 million tons in 2021/22 MY.
