Mumbai – Coriander market is showing a green signal amid better buying demand.
Currently, coriander prices increased at $905 / tonnes for Eagle variety as buying demand increased. Prices improved by $1.35/ quintal in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh markets which are the hub of the coriander market. Local mills procured almost 65 per cent of the coriander arrived in the markets.
There is good demand from local and southern mills. Delhi mills also buying in a large quantity. However, major arrivals were affected by the heavy rainfall in some markets, which damaged the quality of the green space.
Therefore, looking at the whole prospects rising in demand from local markets against the lower supply, the market showing a green signal in major mandis of the country.
