Market players stated that the Province Aydin had heavy rainfalls from time to time in some districts last week, but drought risk continues. The fruitset period is in full swing and is progressing well, and there is nothing extraordinary observed for the time being. Exporters are completing their outstanding orders for the current Season. Demands for prompt shipments from overseas buyers are still excellent. Raw material prices are at 23 TL up to 30 TL/kg levels. Despite the depreciation of the Turkish Lira (almost 3% since last week), the export prices remained the same varying again hugely on a supplier basis. Turkey’s export increased by 30% the previous week, being 859 mt, 660 mt during the same week of Last Year. The total exports ranged at 59.885 mt of the current crop being 60.,733 mt in the same period of the last Season.
