Strategie Grains experts raised the forecast for the production of sunflower seeds one of the oilseeds in the EU in 2023/24 MY by 0.1 million tons compared to the previous figure – to 11.3 million tons, which is 2.3 million tons more than the result of the previous season.
The forecast for soybeans was also raised by 0.1 million tons, to 3.2 million tons compared to 2.5 million tons harvested in 2022/23 MY.
At the same time, the forecast for rapeseed production is maintained at the level of 19.5 million tons (at the level of the previous year).
