ODESA: According to APK-Inform Agency, from December 1 to December 31, Ukrainian seaports shipped 1 million tons of oilseeds and processed products for export. This is 12,8% lower than the previous month (1.15 million tons).
The volume of export shipments of sunflower and processed products in December this year decreased by 6,9% compared to November and amounted to 790,3 thousand tons. In particular, 562,6 thousand tons of sunflower oil went for export, which exceeds the volumes a month earlier by 17,1%. Export of meal amounted to 213,8 thousand tons. 13,9 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were shipped, which is 2 times less than in November.
Soybeans and processed products – Ukraine exported 157,9 thousand tons in December. At the same time, 95,5% of the total export volume of soybeans and processed products in December were soybeans – 150,7 thousand tons. This is 7,7% lower than the volumes a month earlier. There were no shipments of soybean oil in December and November this year.
In December, Ukrainian ports loaded 49,9 thousand tons of rapeseed. This is 2,3 times less compared to the previous month. There were no shipments of rapeseed meals in December and November. According to updated data, in November 2021 export of rapeseed oil amounted to 11,6 thousand tons.
The key destinations for shipments of Ukrainian oilseeds and processed products in December were: India (223,9 thousand tons), Turkey (137,1 thousand tons) and France (97 thousand tons).
