Ukraine Has Exported More Than 36 Million Tons of Grain

ODESA: The volume of grain exports from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY as of January 24, 2022, amounted to more than 36,4 million tons. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, this is 8 million tons or 29% higher than last year.

Thus, since the beginning of the season, 16,6 million tons of wheat have been exported, which is 29% more than last year.

The barley supply to foreign markets amounted to 5,4 million tons (+ 38%).

As of the reporting date, 151,9 thousand tons of rye were shipped, which is ten times more than last year’s figure (1.7 thousand tons).

More than 14 million tons of corn went abroad. The increase in supplies was 26% compared to last year.
