Dalian – In this week’s market update, prices have fallen slightly as the Chinese market has not been affected by imports of white kidney beans from North Korea in recent months.
In Beijing, the standard domestic price is USD 1.70 per kg, and the standard export price is USD 1.78 per kg. However, due to low producer stocks, the price in the Yunnan growing region has increased by 2%-3%, and this week the price is USD 1.78-1.80 per kg.
However, traders have not started buying commodities but are working through their situation stocks to fill contracts.
The export situation has not improved significantly. Orders from Russia’s food and canning factories have fallen by 35.7 per cent year-on-year. Market participants do not expect prices to rise over the summer
