DALIAN – Exports of organic pumpkinseed kernels remain difficult, with market participants reporting that the main export regions for pumpkin seeds this year are the United States, Germany, and the Netherlands. Customs data showed exports to the US in the first quarter of 2021 were 3,900 tons, down 21.3 percent year on year, mainly in the high-end market. In order to obtain more orders, clear inventory, and recover funds, the price has dropped slightly this week, from FOB Dalian $3730 to $3650 per ton last week.
