Export prices for unrefined sunflower oil in Russia continue to decline. This is reported by the analysts of APK-Inform in their latest monitoring.
“This situation is mainly due to low demand from major importers for products of Russian origin against the backdrop of Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine. According to market participants, importers are trying to switch to purchasing other vegetable oils to replace sunflower oil. In addition, many trading companies have withdrawn from business with Russia,” said the agency’s analysts.
For example, current offers for unrefined sunflower oil delivered from Russian deep-water ports in April-May fell by USD 100-130/t to USD 2140-2170/t FOB last week.
