At present, the supply of sunflower seeds is less, the food factories are in the off-season of production, and the export market is in the off-season of demand. Sunflower producers and exporters produce and sell to order only, mainly to the Chinese retail market. Xinjiang region sunflower kernels market trading is also prolonged. The downstream market demand is not prosperous, and inquiries from customers are few. The standard export quotation of sunflower seed kernel of confectionary grade is USD1520 /ton, and the standard export quotation of bakery grade is USD1570 /ton.
