The new coriander crop is sown in the country’s central producing states. Coriander has also witnessed a slowdown recently as sowing has commenced and off take remains sluggish. There is no possibility of greenery in the charts of this green spice in the upcoming days.

Areas received adequate rainfall

Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are the country’s leading producing states of fine Coriander. Sowing this major grocery commodity is currently underway in all these states as these areas have received adequate rainfall.

However, the arrival of Coriander in Rajasthan’s Ramganj shop was reported to have fallen to 5,000 bags. This reduction is due to farmers’ limited sales of cilantro to traders and stockists.

Future Scenario

The exports of Coriander have declined by 12 percent on a quantity basis, and earnings have jumped by 31 percent as domestic prices remain high. There is no possibility of growth in Coriander in the coming days. It is due to no buying support from stockists, even at lower prices. Thus, the upcoming week seems to be bearish for Coriander.

The Coriander Eagle 5% Split prices were recorded at $1,35 per kg FOB.
