Overview of Organic Black Kidney Beans Market

DALIAN: According to the statistics of Zhuochuang Information, as of September 18, the supply of goods at the grassroots level in the domestic production areas has bottomed out. But there are still about 3,000 tons of surplus grain in the intermediate links of the production areas, which is less than the same period last year. In the first half of the year, the logistics and transportation in some domestic wholesale markets were not smooth, resulting in a decrease in demand, which in turn led to some surplus grains in the production areas before the new grains were launched. As the new grains are coming to market, most wholesalers in the sales area have stopped accepting them.

The prices in most wholesale areas have dropped by 5%-11% year-on-year compared with the previous month. At this stage, only a small number of wholesalers and food factories purchase on demand. Considering the low yield of black beans in some areas this year, and if the frost falls early in Northeast China, black beans may be immature, so there are still a small number of grain merchants who are reluctant to sell at low prices and plan to ship new grains at the right time.
